Retired teachers who love their job can still do what they want. In the neighborhood, one can help students with academic subjects. You can teach Math as an example to students who’re struggling. Helping students raise their grades and knowledge as they’re bound for college can be so fulfilling.

2. Self enrichment teachers

One need not be a teacher to share knowledge and skills. If you’re good at crafts, music or dancing, you can still find part time jobs that pay good.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the self enrichment teaching business is expected to grow by 21% from 2010 to 2020. There will be markets for people who want to teach new hobbies and skills.

Retirees with caring or nursing backgrounds can definitely enjoy this part time job. With only a few hours to spend, you can promote health and well being just as you did before.

Patient advocates are caregivers to the elderly and the disabled. They help prepare meals, baths, prescriptions and appointments to physicians.

4. Government employee

One of the best places to target a job is with the government offices. They have no age biases as evidenced by a 95 year old man who’s just retired in 2010. According to an article, this 95 year old postal worker has worked for 37 years.

5. Driver

Never underestimate the worth and importance of your driving skills. As a matter of fact, this skill can be a source of living and enjoyment. As a part time job, drivers can enjoy cruising around the city.
