1. Constant news of downsizing or cost-reduction

However, when news and announcements are constant that the organization will be reducing its expenditures, these are often common signs that, aside from the removal of certain benefits, laying off people are certainly within the list. 2. Being kept out of the loop

If you feel that you are no longer involved in discussions or activities that you were previously a participant of, then maybe it’s time for you to clean up your desk. This may be a means for the company to let you know that your input, as well as your being kept updated about the goings on within the organization, are no longer wanted nor required.

3. Changes in treatment

Being able to notice these signs can spell the difference between having a backup plan and having nowhere else to go. It is important to think several steps ahead especially if you feel that you are on your way out with your current company or organization.
